Two sick yobs dangled a homeless woman from a tower balcony and then tortured her for several hours.
Deranged Ewan Gaylard, 20, and Declan O’Neil, 22, roamed the streets of Oldham looking for a victim to violently abuse.
They find found the woman – who was an alcoholic – outside a Bargain Booze shop on Ripponden Road before they lured her to a flat with the promise of drink.
After the thugs bought brandy, they took the woman, who was in her 30s, to Gaylard’s fifth-floor flat at Littlemoor House on Huddersfield Road at about 9pm on February 19.
Once the pair shut the door, they immediately plied her with booze and cocaine – which they also took.
The sickos also tried to kiss the woman and became violent when she pushed back their unwanted advances.
Det Sgt Pete Morely of Greater Manchester Police said: “At one point she went onto the balcony with the intention of screaming for help.
“He lifted her legs up as if to throw her over the balcony. They were about halfway up the building and it would have been a 60ft drop to the ground.
“She grabbed hold of the railing and was then grabbed by the hair and pulled back into the flat.”
He added: “She was then punched, slashed with a piece of a broken mirror, and both defendants punched and kicked her all over her body.
The wound needed 13 stitches and is believed the woman will be permanently disfigured.
She was then punched in the face so hard that her nose “completely collapsed” and was left naked.
The yobs left her alone in the flat at about 1am to get some cleaning products.
Naked and bleeding, the woman banged on neighboring doors – begging for help.
Det Sgt Morley added: “Things could have gone very differently if the person who answered her knock had not done the morally right thing and let her in and called the emergency services.”
Career criminals Gaylard and O’Neil are now behind bars, having been found guilty at Minshull Street Crown Court, The MEN reported.
On Friday, Gaylard was caged for two years after admitting unlawful wounding and O’Neil was sentenced to 10 years for wounding with intent and a separate robbery conviction.
